Thanks for the compliments. We won the first game 4-0, our pitcher threw a great game. Second game our starter struggled as you may have seen. We got into a 10-1 hole in the 2nd inning, the guys did a great job and battling back but we lost the 2nd game 11-10.
Arundel 3 NE 2 Friday 2 unearned run costs us the game. Team not hitting very well right now. NE 5 Meade 4 today had to score 3 in bottom of 7th to win

NE 2 Severna Park 1 9innings Kean went 9 w 3-0 O'keefe went 8 ND reliever got loss don't have stats Geoghegan lead off 9th with single..Emge double knocked in winning run
South River 3 Northeast 1 Evenly matched game... Both teams made mistakes...Auman pitched very well for South River...I thought he hit his spots well with a good mix. NE came into game with a team batting average over .400. I think last count they ended up with 3 or 4 hits. NE 1 run was unearned and 2 of South River's runs were unearned. Hodges took the loss 7 IP., 4hits, 2 BB, 5 k's. Big play in game was in the top of 7th when SR scored 3rd run. On a bunt back to pitcher the runner clearly ran inside the line.Throw hit the runner .Umpires talked about it after NE pitcher and coach complained. Conclusion...neither one saw anything. Important because NE had runner on 3rd in bottom of 7th. I cannot take anything away from SR. They are a good team. I will say 1 more thing. I might be crying because I am a hommer. But I could not believe how the umpires allowed SR coach to be on the field while NE was at bat. Constantly barking out directions from on the field. Sometimes walking almost out to foul line. Even talking to his pitcher. Never once was he in the dugout. Spent the entire game at least 10' to 20' on field.
